These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between EMILY JEWELRY and any buyer making a purchase on the online store emilyjewelry.fr. Placing any order implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Products
The jewelry offered is crafted from 304L stainless steel and feature a durable, waterproof and hypoallergenic PVD coating., which is waterproof and hypoallergenic. Photographs and descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes only. EMILY JEWELRY utilizes real photographs as well as optimized or artificial intelligence-generated visuals (notably for product staging and modeling). EMILY JEWELRY endeavors to present colors, proportions, and textures as accurately as possible, without guaranteeing a perfect match with the on-screen display or the illustrative imagery.
Prices
Prices are displayed in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code / CGI). EMILY JEWELRY reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Orders are invoiced at the rate in effect at the time of order validation.
Orders
An order is considered definitive once payment has been validated. A confirmation email will be sent to the address provided during the checkout process. EMILY JEWELRY reserves the right to cancel any order that is deemed suspicious or presents a risk of fraud.
Payment
Payments are fully secured via Shopify Payments (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). Accepted payment methods are specified during the payment step.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders are shipped from France within 1 to 2 working days. Complimentary shipping is available on orders above a certain amount. This threshold may vary depending on promotional offers or delivery destinations. The applicable conditions will be displayed at checkout. The delivery times indicated are indicative and may vary depending on the carrier. EMILY JEWELRY cannot be held liable for delivery delays caused by third-party transport services.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of your package to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason.
Refunds
Upon acceptance of the withdrawal, the refund will be processed within 14 days following receipt of the returned package, using the same payment method used for the initial order. Jewelry must be returned in brand new, unworn condition, inside its complete original packaging.
Legal Warranties
Warranties
1. Legal Warranties (Mandatory)
Every buyer benefits by law from the following French legal warranties, which apply exclusively to genuine manufacturing defects that existed prior to the purchase :
Legal Warranty of Conformity (Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): valid for a period of 2 years from the delivery of the product.
Warranty Against Hidden Defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code): allowing the buyer to take action if a defect hidden at the time of purchase renders the jewelry completely unfit for its intended use.
2. Our Commercial Warranty & Exclusions
EMILY JEWELRY guarantees its jewelry against manufacturing defects. However, this commercial warranty applies only once per item and categorically excludes any damage related to daily wear, normal wear and tear, or improper handling.
The following are strictly excluded from any coverage, repair, or exchange :
- Discoloration or alteration of the steel after 3 months of use (high-quality stainless steel does not alter on its own; such changes indicate repeated contact with chemicals, cosmetics, perfumes, lotions, acidic skin pH, or chlorine).
- Cracks, chips, or breakages of natural stones resulting from a shock, pressure, rough handling, or a drop.
- Tangled, warped, stretched, or broken chains following an entanglement, traction, pulling, or excessive tension.
- Loss of the jewelry or its components (clasps, charms, pendants) occurring after delivery
- Normal daily wear and tear (the natural appearance of micro-scratches on the metal).
3. Claim Procedures and Technical Assessment
To activate a warranty claim, the customer must contact customer service at contact@emilyjewelry.fr.
No refund or exchange will be processed based solely on photographs. The defective product must strictly be returned to our workshop for a technical assessment.
Return shipping costs are to be initially paid by the customer.
If, and only if, the manufacturing defect is validated by our team after inspection, the return shipping fees will be reimbursed to the customer (upon presentation of proof of payment) and the jewelry will be exchanged or repaired.
If the assessment demonstrates that the breakage is related to pulling, a shock, or misuse, the warranty claim will be denied, and the jewelry may be shipped back to the customer at their own expense.
In accordance with the law, this commercial warranty applies without prejudice to the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects mentioned above.
